Mark gained his initial industry experience through an accounting cadetship with KPMG. He then joined Crispin & Jeffery in 1992 where he completed his Chartered Accountancy qualifications.

A four-year hiatus from the profession followed where he ran a medium sized family business in the aged care industry.

Mark prides himself on personal contact and his relationship with clients as the cornerstone of his ability to advise.

His focus and experience is in the SME tax structuring space where the diversity of his client base sees him facing numerous challenges around asset acquisition, asset protection, succession in family businesses, capital raising, tax compliance and employment all overlaid with a need for tax effectiveness. As a registered company auditor, Mark audits numerous NFP organisations.

Crispin & Jeffery, independent of Mark's audit services, also act as accounts and advisors for Not-for-profit organisations.

Qualifications: 

• Member - Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
• Member - Institute of Financial Professionals
• Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) - Macquarie University
• Registered Tax Agent
• Registered Company Auditor

When Mark isn't in the office, if not on the golf course, he can be found spending quality time with his partner, Rebel, supporting his daughter's endeavours and tinkering in the shed at home to maintain a century old terrace house.
