"A deep understanding of my clients' operations and challenges underpins my ability to offer insightful and strategic advice, particularly in the realm of Audit, to enhance operational efficiency and financial integrity."
Mark Arthur embarked on his accounting journey through a cadetship with KPMG, laying the foundation for a career characterised by rigorous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. After earning his stripes and completing his Chartered Accountancy qualifications at Crispin & Jeffery in 1992, Mark took a strategic detour to manage a family business in the aged care industry, enriching his perspective on the unique challenges faced by medium-sized enterprises.
Returning to the accounting profession with a sharpened focus, Mark has since distinguished himself as a leading authority in Audit, particularly within the Not-for-Profit (NFP) sector. As a Registered Company Auditor, his expertise is not just in ensuring compliance but in leveraging audit as a tool for enhancing transparency, accountability, and ultimately, the financial and operational health of organisations.
Mark’s approach to audit goes beyond traditional methodologies. It is informed by a comprehensive understanding of SME tax structuring, asset acquisition, protection, and succession planning, allowing him to provide holistic and actionable insights. His dedication to the NFP sector is evident in his meticulous audit practices, which Crispin & Jeffery supports through independent accounting and advisory services.
