JobKeeper December Monthly Declaration

The ATO have provided an extension for lodgment of the December monthly declaration, this must be completed by 28/1/21. Our office will be closed until 11/1/21 and, if we are submitting the declaration on your behalf, we will contact you upon our return to request the information that we require.

JobKeeper Extension Period 2

The first JobKeeper extension period ends on 3/1/21. In order to continue claiming JobKeeper for the period 4/1/21 – 28/3/21 you will be required to retest your revenue via the calculator on the ATO Business Portal. If your income for the December 2020 quarter is 30% less than the December 2019 quarter then you will remain eligible for the second extension period. The ATO calculator must be completed by 31/1/21 in order to confirm your eligibility.

          The JobKeeper payments will reduce further in the second extension period. The payment will reduce to $1,000 for tier 1 employees and $650 for tier 2 employees.

          At present there has been no announcement regarding a further extension to the JobKeeper system.

C&J Office Closure

Our office will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period from 12pm on Wednesday 23rd December 2020.

We will be re-opening on Monday 11th January 2021.
