Bill Matley – Joining BDO on 1 March 2023

Good morning/afternoon,

Over the past few months, I have been in discussions with BDO in Australia and exploring the cultural fit, strategic alignment and future opportunities for myself and my team, including Faisal, Charlie and Priscila.

I am pleased to share that we will be officially joining BDO’s team as of 1 March 2023 and will be located at BDO’s Sydney offices at 1 Margaret Street in the CBD.

I have been part of the Crispin & Jeffery family for more than 20 years, and while I am excited for the new opportunities at BDO, it is bittersweet that my time at Crispin & Jeffery is coming to an end. I am thankful for Jonathan Blake, Mark Arthur and Paul Jeffery for all of their support during my career.

By joining BDO in Australia, my team and I will be able to fully realise our vision to expand our footprint while still maintaining our close client relationships and exceptional service delivery. We look forward to utilising BDO’s vast global network and the increased technical and administrative support.

We will have the benefit of drawing on BDO’s broad service offering and sector expertise, while retaining our agile and innovative approach to business. 

What does this mean for our clients?

It will be business as usual for our clients:

• All of my clients will be welcome to join me as a client of BDO. We will be transitioning clients over to BDO in the next few weeks. If you have any questions or concerns then please contact me.
• I will remain available as your point of contact during the transition process. Faisal, Charlie and Priscila will also be joining me at BDO so they may be in contact with you as well.
• My new office location, from March 1 2023, is 1 Margaret Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The reception and meetings rooms are on the 11th Floor
• We retain our cost-effective approach to pricing – your existing engagements will remain in place
  • Please note that all invoices issued pre 1 March 2023 will be from Crispin & Jeffery and should be paid to the Crispin & Jeffery account. We will send a statement with the final outstanding amount in early March. Invoices post 1 March 2023 will be from BDO and will have new account details.
• We retain our position of providing exceptional tailored services to family businesses and Australian based multinational organisations
• Additional opportunities for our clients will include access to a wealth of new services and experts that BDO can offer

While my team and I will be transitioning over to BDO in Australia, Crispin & Jeffery will continue operating as usual.
